Abstract :
The theoretical model of multistage depressed collector for traveling wave tubes, including automatic mesh generation, the effects of secondary electron emission, space charges, and magnetic fields will be presented in detail. Based on this theory, a two-dimensional code, named UESTC_MDC, has been developed and been used in the design of symmetrical multistage depressed collectors
