Abstract
The progress in both theory and experiment in the field of vacuum electronics carried out in the Institute for Radiophysics and Electronics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is presented. Main achievements in design of nonrelativistic vacuum electron devices of MMW band, such as magnetrons, resonant BWOs, klystrons, diffraction radiation generators, and weak resonant BWOs as sources of noise signals have been designed and fabricated. Our vision of future developments and design of new vacuum electron devices are presented
