Abstract
The order-reducing and integrating method is used to obtain the analytic expression for the autocorrelation function of flicker FM noise. The general principle of the characterization is based on transforming a non-stationary process into a stationary one and averaging it in time. In addition, the Allan variance of flicker FM noise is derived from the autocorrelation function
