Abstract
There is analysed the possible reason show statistics of scattering measured by the different methods of PMD values of single-mode fiber (SMF) or light guide in this paper. Also, it is shown that the difference of PMD values of SMF by the different methods can bring to essential lowering of passability of SMF established testing by IEC and ITU-T. The calculation of link design value, PMDQ and DGDMAX are made
