Abstract
An active rectifier has two control objectives: current tracking and voltage regulation. Against dynamic nonlinear loads or voltage sags it is difficult to achieve both objectives. This paper deals whit analysis, design and implementation a passivity-based control to track a current reference and a PI controller to regulate de DC bus voltage. Moreover, the bus regulation has adequately performance even when an adverse condition such as voltage sag occurs. Analysis and simulation results are presented for a 1 KVA active rectifier
