Abstract :
In this paper, a bandwidth allocation scheme based on QoS and QoP is presented for networked motion controller in CNC system with multi axes. The concept of the scheme is to synchronize all stations and schedule the time sequence of the communication at first, then design a lookup table of sampling time and the bandwidth of network for the given platform, and finally alter the sampling time period according to the QoS to maintain the optimal QoP. In order to verify the feasibility of the scheme, Matlab/Simulink model using Truetime is set up and trajectory tracking experiments with two axes are developed. The results show that the proposed scheme can ensure the QoP of the CNC system with limited network bandwidth in real time.
