Abstract
??? BETTER UTILIZATION OF TRANSISTORS ??? BETTER UTILIZATION OF TRANSFORMERS ??? REDUCED EMI ??? LESS FILTERING REQUIRED ??? SIMPLIFIES SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION Conduction overlap and core saturation are problems that must be overcome with a voltage sourced inverter operating above 10kHz. Both of these problems are controlled when a current source is used for the inverter.
