Abstract :
This article presents the development of a mathematical model with lumped parameters approach of the water walls of a boiler simulator that reproduces the actual behaviour of a steam generator of 350 MW power plant (unit 3 of the thermal power station Dual Calles located in Guerrero, Mexico). The simulator is a powerful tool for analysis that reproduces the response of variables such as temperature, pressure, mass flow and composition of the combustion gases in different parts the boiler under diverse operating conditions. The basis for the formulation of the models and some results obtained with the simulator are presented and discussed.
