Abstract :
In this paper performance analysis of proposed fuzzy MRAC based control for drying process is compared. Last part of the paper machine consists of a large number of rotating steam heated cylinders. By adjusting the set point of the stream pressure to the cylinders, moisture to be controlled. Model Reference Adaptive Control scheme (MRAC) is used to optimize the paper making process, in which the adaptive laws have been developed by MIT rule. This paper presents a nonlinear identification and dynamic control, based on heat and mass balance for steam, cylinder and paper. The control was performed by combining the drying process system using the adaptive control algorithm and its results were analyzed. A simulation is carried out using MATLAB. Simulation results reveal clear benefits of these Fuzzy Model Reference Adaptive control over Mrac controller methods. Thus by controlling this process prove real incentives for industrial implementation.
