Abstract :
In the paper, the method of analysis of classical discontinuity in the form of width step in microstrip line by transverse resonance method was developed. The numerical algorithm is implemented using the approximation of tangential components of the electromagnetic field at the coupling interface in the form of a series by eigenfunctions of the complicated cross-section waveguide. The algorithm is tested on an example of the 3 sections symmetric microstrip transformer.
