Abstract
An overview of the recent advances in heat shrink technology, concerning applications for medium voltage cable accessories, is presented. The overview describes the use of multi-layer product concepts and designs to enhance technical product properties and generate superior technical performance. Conclusions on the relative advantages and disadvantages of such systems are presented
