Abstract :
On the basis of introducing time-difference ultrasonic flow detection, a regression analysis method for the correction of heat-meter flow is presented in this paper. This article firstly analyzed the principle of ultrasonic flow detection by using the time-difference method, then established the regression model between the flow and the time difference based on the experiment, finally examined the model and the regression coefficients, and forecasted the flow in different velocities, achieved the correction of flow value. The experimental results indicate that the method outperforms previous methods in compensating the nonlinear error with the time-difference measurement. It also reduces the measurement error which is caused by the velocity disturbance in the process of heat meters, then we can calibrate heat meter flow more accurately.
