Abstract :
ISDB (Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting) is a future digital broadcasting system that provides viewers with a variety of services. This paper describes the OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) layered model of ISDB and the structure of signal transmission. This model introduces the common use of packet multiplexing methods to construct ISDB that has interoperability. A signal reception control method that selects target programs from among various broadcasting services is explained using the layered model
