Abstract :
This paper reports on a survey of Singapore companies´ intentions to adopt negotiation support systems (NSSs). The data collected were tested based on two theoretical models: the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and the technology acceptance model (TAM). Preliminary findings showed that the TPB provides a better prediction of the intention to adopt a NSS than the TAM does, with subjective norm and perceived behavioral control being the significant determinants of intention. The implications of these results are discussed.
