Abstract :
In this paper, we derive the non-oscillation condition for a digital on-channel repeater (DOCR) with a feedback interference canceller (FIC) in Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting (DTTB) networks. Based on it, a new gain control scheme is proposed. Compared with the conventional gain control scheme, the proposed scheme avoids the oscillation in the DOCR and decreases the gain adjusting time of approaching the aimed maximum output power. Results from simulations support the theoretical analysis and discussions.
