  • Abstract
We consider a problem which is basic to perception measurement: the integration of perceptual information into a proposed description of a sensor system. This paper presents a framework for handling complex processes where the significance of a human operator perception system is often obvious, but the correlation to a corresponding sensor-based measurement system is not known. As example, we discuss an industrial process where human operators´ experience and knowledge is essential; automated bread-baking. An important function of this framework is to extract indirect information from a number of sensors of the signal flow, the aim being to obtain information of better quality and relevance
