Abstract
The electrically forced phase transition of ferroelectric copolymers of vinylidene fluoride and trifluorethylene is considered. The ferroelectric phase transition temperature of nonpoled samples of the polymer, T c, rose due to application of an external bias electric field. On the other hand, in the case of poled samples, both rise and fall of T c, were observed. The experimental results are discussed in comparison with the effect of hydrostatic pressure on this phase transition
