  • Abstract
To quantify the stochastic properties of the EEG at different brain sites and different brain states (eye-open and eye-close), we used the bicoherence function and examined the deviation from Gaussianity and linearity, such as quadratic phase coupling. We have founded that the eye-closed state is more nonlinear and more non-Gaussian. Some different characteristics have been found with respect to the brain sites
