Abstract :
With the development of IPv6 network and the rapid increase of IPv6 network traffic. To meet the increasing demand on IPv6 network management, it requires the identification, analysis and statistics on IPv6 network traffic. In this paper, we propose a method which makes hash compression on IPv6 flow label in network traffic management devices, and also undertake performance analysis and research on Hash Collision Probability and False Positive Rate caused by this method.
