Abstract
Wireless communications is a critical path technology for all future military applications. Advancements in wireless communication technologies allow war-fighters to remain mobile while providing real time access to greater amounts of information. This type of technology has changed the way soldiers communicate. The discovery of several new nanotechnology advancements that can be integrated into current wireless devices and systems will enhance the capabilities of the war-fighters in the field even further. This paper reviews the potential impact of nanotechnology on communications for the war-fighter with special emphasis on advanced sensor technologies.
