  • Abstract
    Speed is a crucial factor for any practical computer system. With existing systems, parallel processing is the way to achieve the necessary speedup with current computing resources. A method to perform effective model-based object identification in a transputer network is described in this paper. The speed achieved is close to that required in industrial applications
