Abstract
This paper presents an image deblurring scheme based on visual saliency. The image is first divided into a significant part and a non-significant part through its saliency map, and the blur kernel of the non-significant part is estimated with an improved fast motion deblurring algorithm. Finally, a compensation mechanism is proposed to convert the space variable blur into the space invariable blur. The predicted blur kernel can be used into the whole image. Experiments show this scheme can effectively deal with the problem of space variable blurring.
