Abstract :
In order to improve the timely of part distribution and the stability of automobile assembly line, based on the theory of constraints, according to the analysis of inventory cost and failure cost, an optimal model of buffer inventory for the automobile supply chain is put forward. This model can solve the conflict between lowering logistics cost and ensuring logistics continuity, thus reduce the operating cost and enhance the overall efficiency of the automobile supply chain. At last, the validity of this model is proved by an implementation case.
