Abstract
An adaptive network coding scheme is proposed for the full utilization of network resource in distributed antenna systems to reduce the outage probability. Depending on the decoding results of received signals, the relay node adaptively employs different transmission schemes. When the information is received correctly from the two users, the relay transmits the coded message to the base station. Otherwise it delivers the message to the destination which is received correctly. Theoretical analysis and simulation shows that outage probability is decreased by 39.62% and 8.04% compared to the plain distributed antenna systems and traditional network coding scheme when the data rate R is 1Bit/s/Hz.
