  • Abstract
    In this paper, the service model and implementing principles for PRESENCE service were firstly elaborated for IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network. Then, based on the open source software projects, an experimental platform of IMS PRESENCE service was set up, including an IMS core network and a PRESENCE server. Practice testing results demonstrated the procedure of PRESENCE service with high validity.
