  • Abstract
This paper comprises the structural analysis information about the different mechanical structures of boom. Up till now the cargo containers are cleaned by humans (manually) which has a great disadvantage because human interaction with the container from inside can be a major cause of spreading germs or bacteria. So for cleaning the cargo containers automatically a robotic arm or boom is required. In this paper different types of structures were analysis which includes Rectangle section, T section, I Section and Pentagon structure to make sure which is more effective on a large scale. Designing and stress was performed on SolidWorks. Moreover this is the perfect example of representation- bridge communication because the mood of communication is different between Human brain and Software.
