Abstract :
Summary form only given as follows. Classical scientific and engineering work is changing due to computers, software and the information highway. Computers and software packages are used for scientific, engineering and administrative work. Innovation and creativity can also be supported by some systematic approach and software. Software for CAT (computed aided thinking) is used for heuristic creative innovation in the course of technological innovation. Innovation´s results are evaluated and compared from the point of view classical approach versus software supported approach. Project management courses give students the other important knowledge of how to manage technology. Project oriented curricula concentrated in innovation are analyzed after three years of student´s and faculty´s experience. Project oriented curricula as a transdisciplinary (multidisciplinary) program are discussed with relationship to the engineering management program. The real examples of student´s innovation are presented
