Abstract :
This paper introduces an enhanced technique for mitigation of high power and long duration interference in terrestrial digital video broadcasting (DVB-T/H) systems. The scheme assumes perfect knowledge of the interference position and duration. Reliability information concerning the interference is constructed first and then combined with channel state information to perform soft bit scaling in the DVB-T/H receiver. The performance of the new technique is evaluated in static frequency selective channels.
