Abstract :
Back-wave oscillators (BWO) of 667-857 GHz, 789-968 GHz, 882-1100 GHz frequency ranges with phase synchronization of frequency are used for elaboration of a set of synthesizers with quartz frequency stability. Synthesizers consist of the following modules and units: BWO radiation sources, high-voltage power supply of BWO; reference frequency synthesizers with upper frequency 20 GHz (for synthesizers 667-857 GHz and 789-968 GHz); reference synthesizer 78,33-118,1 (for synthesizer in 882-1100 GHz); quasi-optical tract with harmonic mixer; block of frequency control; phase lock loop (PLL) system of BWO frequency. Spectral characteristics of the synthesizers are measured. We demonstrated application of the devices for THz spectroscopy.
