Abstract :
In recent years, the research on theoretical model of hydraulic fracturing has experienced development. But there is little progress in the research on slurry friction loss in the fracturing string, which is the key to guide the design and construction of the fracturing. Therefore, it is necessary to study the friction loss of slurry, and derive the model which can be used universally. Taking into account the momentum transfer between liquid-solid phases, this paper works out the average velocity of slurry in vertical section, curve section and horizontal section, with different particle movement pattern of suspension, slip-jump, partial slip-jump respectively, and through the use of Darcy-Weisbach equation establishes a new model of slurry friction loss, which can analyse the friction loss influenced by certain parameters, such as pipe diameter, delivery rate, prop pant concentration, properties of prop pant and fracturing fluid.
