Abstract :
Summary for only given. Since the students of today will be the employees of tomorrow, we should be keenly interested in how the educational experience will affect the styles of management that will have to be employed for organization to achieve peak performance. The current teaching and learning styles most likely to affect organizational values and expectations are direct access and remote learning, integrated curriculum, and collaborative learning process. In the past, the impact of this early programming was minimized until the workers had reached a policy-making level within the organization. Due to an expected shortage of qualified workers, it will be necessary for management to build an organization that meets the expectations of the next generation of workers. The shortage of qualified workers will also necessitate that management develop strategies to employ some of the unqualified workers. In-house training programs and job design are two strategies future management will probably have to employ to meet the demand for labor. Regardless of the strategies employed, the value of the skilled workers will increase. To retain those valuable resources, management must be willing to create an environment that meets the expectations of the new workforce, invest in skills training and education, and allow some degree of autonomy in selection of assignments. In the future, even more than now, managers will have to serve as mentors, establish a learning environment, facilitate peer-to-peer learning, and share information acquired through experience
