Abstract :
Ontology has a very wide range of applications, however the large-scale ontologies are not easy to manage and produce redundancy during deduction. In this paper, we first analyzed how to map the OWL into Graph and summarized six relations in Modular Modeling; an extended-BFS algorithm is introduced to partition large ontology into sub-ontology according to different combination of context information. Then we use multi-media conference ontology as an example to prove the effect of algorithm and compare the modularized results of upper ontologies by different thresholds.
