Abstract :
We describe a flexible framework, Social Networks and Opinion Dynamics Analysis (SNODA) tool, designed to perform agent-based modeling and analysis of opinion propagation within a large artificial society. The tool allows the user to create desirable scenarios by configuring agent attributes and generating complex social networks that define information flow between agents. The SNODA framework also provides the capability to model influence operations, which are designed to shift opinions of agents in a desired direction. User can create message agents, configure their attributes, identify the social groups or individuals to be targeted by the messages, run simulation and visually monitor overall outcome at the system level.
