Abstract :
The operation principle, mathematical model and harmonic of a four-quadrant converter are analyzed. The improved predictive current control is adopted to improve the input current harmonic of four-quadrant converter. Simulation and experimental results which based on TMS320F2812 show that the harmonic of four-quadrant converter is suppressed effectively and the unity power factor can be achieved by using the improved predictive current control. Afterwards, then the total harmonic distortion (THD) of input current has been reduced by 20%.
