Abstract :
A solution for an H type problem for sampled-data control systems is derived. The solution is given in terms of an equivalent discrete-time H problem. The reduction procedure is described and characterized from the viewpoint of the minimum energy principle and J-unitary transformations, which turn out to be more straightforward than the existing methods
