Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. The reliability of medium voltage shielded power cables in the generating station environment has been a critical issue for nuclear operations for many years, principally from the perspective of safety-related systems. This paper describes the approach to cable condition assessment employed in nuclear. and conventional generating stations, for both oil-paper and solid extruded polymeric cables.
