Abstract :
VISART is a government-developed risk management software package supporting defining risk posture and choosing optimal countermeasures. Vulnerability and threat estimates are inputs. The indirect effect of information disclosure is modeled. An algorithm generalizing “expected value” to nonmutually exclusive events is used to aggregate risks from any number of potential undesirable events
