Abstract :
In this paper a new algorithm of median filter evaluation for binary images is presented. Main advantages of this new algorithm are its short time of evaluation and low memory consumption. Its properties allow to use it in real-time image processing systems. Additionally proposed algorithm could be easily implemented in hardware.
