Abstract :
A novel Bull´s eye ultra wideband THz antenna consists of circular slit surrounded by corrugated periodic grooves is reported. The antenna has been analyzed numerically. The simulation results show that the antenna has an impedance bandwidth of 630%, ranging from 57GHz to 400GHz. The antenna is modeled as perfect electrical conductor (PEC) with identical width and length of 34mm and compact thickness of 1.2mm. The antenna has a high gain performance over the operation bandwidth as it achieves gain of 21.5 dB at 400GHz.
