Abstract :
Creating transnational degrees, like the double diplomas offered by groups of educational institutions from different European countries, represents one solution to develop education in Europe. We give good reasons to build transnational degrees and show that the underlying mobility improves the student´s skills and career, based on case studies related to French-German double diplomas. We also give some feedback on our experience in building such kind of diplomas. We analyse in particular the teaching coordination problem between the partner institutions.
