Abstract
The first two and a half years of Columbus Operation have been analysed to assess the efficiency of the failure management system. The assessment took into account two aspects. The first aspect was the fulfilment of the failure management functions as they have been specified in the requirements document. The second aspect covered the spacecraft operation. How did the failure management meet the operational needs?
