Abstract :
Nowadays, there are many design that has been produced by bus manufacture. The design however not focusing on the aesthetic only, but it must fulfill all the criteria needed like the material and aerodynamically efficient design. The statistic from Road Safety Department of Malaysia shows that the buses that were involved in accident were increasing from 2005 until 2007. There are many factors of bus incident such as human behavior factor, design, specification and others but in this work, we proposed to limiton the design factor elements. The primary area of interest is about the façade design of the hi-deck bus. Based on the existing design, there are varieties of important aspects that need to be focused on. Therefore, the conceptual framework on façade Hi-Deck bus using the FRP composite is reported.
