Abstract :
40-Gb/s polarization multiplex DQPSK is transmitted (based on real time BER measurements) over 0 to 75 km of standard single-mode fiber using coherent detection and linear electrical dispersion compensation with 2 dB dispersion tolerance of 640 ps/nm.
