  • Abstract
An increased abuse of psychoactive substances and narcotics along with inadequate treatment call for new approaches based on data-wave processes. A comprehensive study of effects of microwave resonance therapy on the development of withdrawal syndrome with 65 opiomania patients (ICD-10 Code F11.X; average age-23/spl plusmn/3.2 years; average daily drug dose-12.3/spl plusmn/4.6 g of market opium). It has been established that the reduction of psychopathological symptomatology occurs faster with the application of microwave resonance therapy. The overall duration of abstinence syndrome and the medicines dosage reduce considerably.
