Abstract
This paper proposes a rotation invariant seal imprint verification method. First, the magnitude of Zernike moments is calculated after calculation of the center of the normalized seal imprint. Second, a Wiener filter is used to improve the Zernike moments of the seal imprint contaminated with noise. Third, the discrete cosine transform (DCT) of the autocorrelation of the output sequence of the Wiener filter is computed. Then, the seal imprint can be verified using the discrete K-L expansion of the DCT. Finally the verification experiments are given to show the effectiveness of our method.
