Hakonavi: The mobile guide system in a museum and its user’s acceptance of recommendations

The recommendation function, common in the Internet, is introduced on the electric guide system in an exhibition at the National Museum of Ethnology. In the real setting of the museum, the recommendations were either almost completely followed or completely ignored by the users. However, both groups gave high evaluation on the system.
