Abstract
The grey integral variable structure control of synchronous reluctance motor drive is presented. We adopt the maximum torque control strategy to improve the low torque phenomenon. The integral variable structure controller is used in the outer loop to reject the bounded disturbances and parameter variations. A grey prediction model of the second order difference equation is first proposed to forecast the system state variation and force the state point into the boundary. We need not know the maximum bounds of the disturbances and parameter variations. This system has a fast response and a good disturbance rejection capability. The controller is implemented by using the DS1102 processor board which is the dSPACE product. Experimental results are presented to confirm the theoretical analysis.
