Study of the experience of new town planning, construction,and management in Singapore and the experience for Nanjing

Singapore has established a scientific system of new town planning, construction and management through above 40 years´ practice and conclusion. Now, Nanjing city undergoes the period of rapid economic development, stinging social transformation and fast spatial increment. New urban areas and outer huge residential areas of Nanjing city are facing much problems and threats. This paper tries to find benefit for Nanjing city through the study of the experience of new town planning, construction and management in Singapore.
