Abstract :
A procedure for the computation of position of local phase center of thin-wire helical antenna is suggested. The procedure is based on the analysis of the antenna phase characteristics in an arbitrary point of space. The results of local phase center position displacement analysis are presented. The coordinates of the observation point, the frequency of the exciting current and geometry of the antenna were considered as factors affecting the position of the local phase center.
