Abstract
For wireless channels, interference mitigation techniques are typically applied at the bit/packet transmission level. In this paper, we present a simple channel predictor that responds to impairments that are present at the packet transmission time scale. A channel predictor determines whether to transmit a packet or not, depending on the state of the wireless channel. Channel state information provided by the predictor can be used as the foundation to perform compensation for flows experiencing bad link quality
